Dangerous swimming conditions are possible due to high wave action and strong rip currents today (9/26) along the Lake Michigan beaches of southern Schoolcraft County. Only experienced swimmers should get in the water as dangerous rip currents could form and rapid waves could quickly tire-out less experienced swimmers.
May 14th marks the 20th anniversary of the start of the Dead River Flood.
