Ongoing Historic Flooding in the Midwest; Snowmelt Flooding in the Northwest

Historic to catastrophic flooding continues across portions of the Plains,Great Lakes, and Upper Midwest. The weather pattern is relatively calm across much of the country through mid-week. Warm temperatures and snowmelt is producing flooding from the northern Great Basin to the Northern Rockies. A cold front and peak monthly tides in Hawaii will produce very high surf today.
