Overview

A prolonged period of snow produced snowfall totals of 3 to 7 inches in areas generally north of Interstate 90, with lighter amounts of 1 to 3 inches south of the Interstate 90 corridor. A narrow band of heavier snow developed and persisted north of Highway 14, from east central South Dakota into parts of southern Minnesota. Amounts within this band ranged from 7 to 10 inches.
