A continued dry and slightly warmer than normal forecast is ahead this week. Temperatures will average in the middle to upper 30s in most areas. A few breezy days are expected, but no strong winds are in the forecast. Overnight low temperatures will remain in the teens to lower 20s each night.
Here's a look at the monthly precipitation departures from normal in 2020. Most areas have averaged multiple months with below normal precipitation, with year to date departurs approaching 10 inches in locations such as Sioux Falls.
