As high pressure builds, temperatures will steadily warm over the next couple of days, with high temperatures averaging 10°F above seasonal normals by Monday afternoon. A few showers and thunderstorms will develop over the higher terrain east of I-15 this afternoon. The best coverage of showers and thunderstorms will shift to far northern Utah on Monday with the passage of a grazing storm system during the afternoon and evening.
