NWS Chicago issues two daily narrative fire weather forecasts, one in the morning by 6 am central time and a second in the afternoon around 4 pm central time. This forecast consists of a brief weather discussion and a detailed 48 hour forecast of weather, temperatures, relative humidity, winds, and smoke dispersion parameters.
