...The Flood Advisory continues for the following rivers in Nevada...

  Humboldt River At Battle Mountain affecting Lander County.

.Warm temperatures will melt snowpack and increase river flows.

For the Lower Humboldt...including Palisade, Battle Mountain,
Comus...elevated river levels are forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an
alternative route.

Additional information is available at www.weather.gov.

Next issuance will be by this afternoon at 500 PM PDT.

* IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Localized minor lowland flooding along the
  reach.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 12:15 AM PDT Friday the stage was 9.1 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 8.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 9.1
    feet early this morning.
  - Action stage is 8.5 feet.
  - Flood stage is 9.5 feet.

* WHAT...Northwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph
  expected.

* WHERE...Mojave Desert Slopes.

* WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to 4 AM PDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult, particularly for high profile
  vehicles. Blowing dust may reduce visibilities at times.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Highways affected include, but are not
  limited to Highway 14 and Highway 58 below Tehachapi Pass,
  including the town of Mojave.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
  Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may
  result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strongest winds will be below the San
  Gorgonio Pass with visibility reduced in blowing sand and dust.

...OZONE HIGH POLLUTION ADVISORY FOR MARICOPA COUNTY INCLUDING THE
PHOENIX METRO AREA SATURDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...

The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) has issued an
Ozone High Pollution Advisory for the Phoenix Metro Area Saturday
through Sunday.


This means that forecast weather conditions combined with existing
ozone levels are expected to result in local maximum 8-hour ozone
concentrations that pose a health risk. Adverse health effects
increase as air quality deteriorates.

Ozone is an air contaminant which can cause breathing difficulties
for children, older adults, as well as persons with respiratory
problems. A decrease in physical activity is recommended.

You are urged to car pool, telecommute or use mass transit.
The use of gasoline-powered equipment should be reduced or done late
in the day.
