* WHAT... Winds, south west 30 to 35 kt with gusts to 40 kt and
  seas build to 15 to 18 ft due to southerly wind waves and a
  heavy west swell. Seas remain hazardous to smaller crafts
  Thursday night with seas of 13 feet at 14 seconds.

* WHERE...All areas north of Cape Blanco.

* WHEN...For the Hazardous Seas Warning, until 5 AM PDT early
  this morning. For the Gale Warning, until 11 PM PDT this
  evening. For the Small Craft Advisory, from 11 PM this evening
  to 2 PM PDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or
  damage vessels. Bar crossings will become especially
  treacherous.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Isolated thunderstorms are possible
  Thursday and will have the potential to produce brief periods
  of gale force gusts of 40 to 50 kt as well as small hail.

  ft at 13 seconds and south winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30
  kt expected.

* WHERE...Coastal Waters from Cape Shoalwater to Florence out 60
  NM.

* WHEN...Gale Warning, until 8 PM PDT this evening. Hazardous
  Seas Warning, from 8 PM this evening to 11 AM PDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or
occurring. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires
experience and properly equipped vessels. It is highly
recommended that mariners without the proper experience seek safe

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult.
  Tire chains may be necessary if travelling through mountain passes.

Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road
conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.

  Range including Pyramid Lake.

* WHEN...From 11 AM this morning to 8 PM PDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Small boats, kayaks and paddle boards will be prone to
  capsizing and should remain off lake waters until conditions
  improve.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Check lake conditions before heading out and be prepared for a
sudden increase in winds and wave heights. Consider postponing
boating activities on the lake until a day with less wind.
