AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Snow. Total snow accumulations around 2 to 4 inches, with
  locally higher amounts up to 5 inches.

* WHERE...North central and parts of northwest North Dakota.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM CDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow
  could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions
  will impact the Friday morning commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road
conditions can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.

MDT/ THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Freezing rain, sleet, and snow. Total ice accumulations up
  to one tenth of an inch and snow accumulations up to two inches.

* WHERE...Much of south central and southwest North Dakota.

* WHEN...Until 1 PM CDT /noon MDT/ this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
  conditions will impact the Friday morning commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations 2 to 6 inches.

* WHERE...Little Belt and Highwood Mountains.

* WHEN...From noon today to 6 AM MDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions and reduced visibility
  along highway 89, with the heaviest snow expected near King`s Hill
  Pass this afternoon and evening.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road

...Patchy dense fog continues over portions north-central and
central Montana through the morning hours...

Patchy dense fog is currently being observed over portions of
north-central and central Montana, this morning, including the
highway 200 corridor, as well as, Interstate 15 between Cascade
and Conrad. Light freezing drizzle may accompany the fog, possibly
accumulating up to a glaze of ice on exposed surfaces.

Travelers and pedestrians should be prepared for highly variable
road conditions including sudden drops in visibility below a half
mile and potential slippery roads and sidewalks. Slow down and
allow extra time to reach your destination.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Snow returning to the southern half of the area late tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Saturday through Sunday Night...Unsettled and cooler with rain and
snow likely. Impacts are likely in the mountains. Impacts are less
certain in the lower elevations, especially during the daylight
hours.

Saturday through Monday...A couple of weather systems will bring
chances for rain/snow to the area. Wind will be breezy on Saturday.
