Flash Flood Threats in the Northeast and Southeast; Excessive Heat in the Southwest

Heavy rain will contribute to flash and small stream flooding threats in southern New England Thursday and across portions of coastal North Carolina, Virginia and the Florida Gulf Coast through Friday.
