Thunderstorms are possible this morning across the Sandhills into central Nebraska but the threat for strong to severe thunderstorms is expected to be delayed until this evening. Confidence in severe thunderstorms is highest south of Interstate 80 where large hail and damaging wind gusts are possible and a tornado or two cannot be ruled out.
