Mostly clear skies are expected tonight with high pressure situated over the Great Lakes. Light winds and a cool air mass overhead will take low temperatures down into the lower to middle 20s north, upper 20s to lower 30s south.
After a quiet Thursday, a stretch of unsettled weather is expected this weekend as two system move through the region. Some of the storms on Saturday may become strong or severe. Plenty of gulf moisture will be available, thus locally heavy rain is possible. A wide range of temperatures can be expected as a frontal boundary remains over the vicinity.
Low humidity readings are forecast once again on Thursday afternoon into early Thursday evening. Please continue to use caution if grilling and avoid burning yard debris.
