Winds will decrease overnight and with mostly clear skies temperatures will fall to near or below freezing across all of South Central TExas.
A much quieter weather pattern is in store across south central Texas today. Winds turn back around out of the south by the beginning of the work week, allowing temperatures to warm back to above normal by Tuesday. A mid-day cold front approaches from the north on Wednesday, with the cooler air behind the front lagging until Thursday. There will be a low chance for showers on Thursday and Thursday night, followed by much cooler temperatures into Friday. There is a LOW chance of some wintry mix across the Hill Country Thursday night, but confidence is VERY low.
