This weekend will have the warmest weather of the season thus far with temperatures likely exceeding 100F in Roswell. A few gusty showers are possible in the northern mountains on Saturday afternoon. Breezy southwest to west winds of 20-30 mph are expected along and east of the central mountain chain Sunday.

Winds and humidities will be strong enough for rapid fire growth most places on Monday and Tuesday; however, fuels will be drier and more susceptible to fire starts over central and western areas.
